While it was once a challenge to view your Steam purchase history, a new tool released by Valve makes it easy to see just how much you’ve spent on Steam. Be warned though; it can be shocking! Keep on reading to find out how to access your Steam purchase history.

How to check how much you’ve spent on Steam

If you’re sure you want to scare yourself and find out exactly how much you’ve spent on games and DLC on Steam over the years, then head to the new Steam External Funds Used tool. Access the tool and log in with your Steam account, following the standard 2FA procedure if you’ve got it enabled on your account. Once you’ve successfully logged in, your total spend should be displayed on-screen in USD, waiting for you to uncover your eyes and take a look at the damage. We say damage because a few members of the Tech Advisor team have checked and some were mortified at the amount they’d splashed out on games on Steam.
