Sennheiser MM 400-X Bluetooth headphones design The lightweight 400-X headphones fold up and can be packed into the included soft travel case, along with a cable should the battery run down (Sennheiser claims it will keep going for 10 hours) or you want to connect to a non-Bluetooth device, such as an in-flight entertainment system (there’s even a two-jack airline adapter included, which is a nice touch). The MM 400-X remind me of my once-favoured Sennheiser PX 200-II headphones that I loved for their portability and sound but had to repeatedly replace due to an inherent weakness in the cable by the jack....

Shadow of the Colossus remake release date: 6 February 2018 Following the promise of an early 2018 release date during the E3 2017 reveal of the Shadow of the Colossus remake, Sony confirmed that the game is set to be released on 6 Febraury 2018. The news was first teased in the YouTube description of the Paris Games Week 2017 trailer and was later confirmed via PlayStation on Twitter....

This year is no different, and the final version of iOS 11 became available to consumers on 19 September. Only a week later the first update – iOS 11.0.1 – is rolling out. There are no feature changes, just bug fixes and improvements. Though if you originally installed the beta version you may not receive the update until you remove the beta profile from Settings > General > Profiles. Once you’ve done this, reboot your iPhone to see the latest official software update....

Android Wear rebranded to Wear OS in early 2018, a move that takes away the ‘Android’ branding and also apes Apple’s naming of its watchOS (and ergo iOS and macOS). Denmark’s Skagen meanwhile has transitioned from regular watches to smartwatches. Its hybrid smartwatches are similar to Withings’ efforts, but the Skagen Falster is a full Wear OS effort. With Huawei, LG and Moto also in the game, does Skagen do enough for us to recommend over those established tech brands?...

This isn’t because the bezels are actually that much of an issue. Big bezels do not a bad phone make. It’s because Sony releases so many phones with such regularity that we, and other tech reviewers and consumers, end up getting disappointed at seeing the same design every three to six months. The design itself isn’t much of a problem. But if you just hate on bezels (and many do), the Xperia XA2 Ultra won’t make you happy....

Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact vs iPad Mini with Retina Display comparison: UK price & availability Sony has revealed that the Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact will be launching this autumn with a price tag of £329 inc VAT. The iPad Mini with Retina Display is, of course, widely available in the UK, ranging upwards in price from £399 inc VAT. It’s worth pointing out that we may see a new iPad mini before the year is out, but if you are buying a tablet today then the choice is clearly Apple flavoured....

We’ve played State of Decay 2 on the Xbox One X. Is it a worthy successor to the first State of Decay, or has Undead Labs created a monster? Here’s our review. Synology has an wide range of products in its portfolio of network-attached storage appliances. The greater number of businesses and enthusiasts may be content with the company’s popular two- to eight-bay desktop devices. But now the entry fee for Synology membership has come down from its previous start point of around £140 for the single-bay DS114 enclosure, to just £78 for the new DS115j....

Telltale Batman UK release date: When is Telltale Batman coming out? On 15 July, Telltale revealed that Batman: The Telltale Series would be coming out in August, and will be available for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4, PC, Mac and mobile devices. That date turned out to be 2 August, but only refered to the first episode. Now there’s word of a second episode, “Children of Arkham” on 20 September....

The device comes with a gorgeous 6.1in Infinity-O Dynamic AMOLED display, while the S10 Plus ( reviewed here) comes with a larger 6.3in screen. Both feature 93% screen-to-body ratio which means it’s a lot of glass to protect. The S10 and S10 Plus were the first phones to introduce an ultrasonic, in-display fingerprint scanner to the mass market. While it’s an innovative feat, it does creates a problem where screen protectors are concerned....

Although at their core, they all do the same job: encrypting your internet connection and giving you a new IP address to hide your real one, this doesn’t mean they’re all the same. There are many differences between them, from speed and cost to the more nuanced aspects such as the level of privacy and security they offer. What that means is that the “best” can be different for different people....

The latter has been rumoured for quite some time, with various online sources claiming that Apple’s iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max will feature a 120Hz display, double the 60Hz of the current iPhone range. It’d bring the Pro iPhone branding in-line with the iPad Pro range, which has offered a 120Hz display for quite some time now. It makes sense for Apple to include a high refresh rate display in its upcoming iPhone range, as it seems to be a staple among flagship Android smartphones in 2020, featured on the likes of the OnePlus 8 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S20, and even the budget-focused £219 Realme 6 features a 90Hz display....

Announced almost precisely one year on from the original TicWatch Pro, this second-generation smartwatch looks to offer a markedly similar proposition, with regards to both features and design. Aside from mobile connectivity, Mobvoi has granted this 2019 model a little extra memory and a reworked finish, but that appears to be the extent of the update. If you’re not familiar with the original TicWatch Pro, it’s served as the company’s most advanced wearable to date, offering one of its most feature-rich designs and the only watch on the market with a secondary FSTN display (more on that in a bit)....

A built-in GPS receiver provides real-time speed and distance information, so you can track distance, time, pace, speed and calories burnt as you run, cycle, walk or even swim....
