It took Apple until last year’s iPhone 11 Pro to offer up a faster charger in-box, despite its phones being able to support the technology for a few generations now. Even then, Apple only upped the wattage of the in-box adapter to 18W. By comparison, its competitors have been bundling fast-chargers in-box for generations, all the while increasing the wattage and thus their devices’ recharging speeds too.
